Hainan Airlines Boeing 787 Launch Customer

Hainan Airlines is very proud to be a launch customer of The Boeing Company’s new  Dreamliner Boeing 787.

As part of Hainan’s strategic plan, introducing the Boeing 787 aircraft to our current fleet will greatly enhance our ability to provide our customers with new passenger-pleasing features. The Boeing 787 Dreamliner is a super-efficient airplane.

It features new wings and a structure optimized to using 20 percent less fuel than any other airplane of its size, resulting in exceptional environmental performance. The airplane will use 20 percent less fuel for comparable missions than today's similarly sized airplane. It will also travel at speeds similar to today's fastest wide bodies, Mach 0.85. Passengers will also see improvements with the new airplane, from an interior environment with higher humidity to increased comfort and convenience.
