Stopovers

If you are on board an aircraft that is the same one for your connecting flight, please remain in the cabin during the stopover to await instruction from the airline staff upon arrival at the connecting airport.

If your connecting flight will be on a different aircraft, please read the following instructions carefully:

After deplaning, proceed to the Hainan Airlines connecting flight counter in the transit area by following the signs, or by asking the airline staff for guidance to confirm your connecting flight.

Please wait in the boarding area after confirmation of your connecting flight if your stopover is within 5 hours (on the same day).

If your stopover is longer than 5 hours (on the same day) or overnight, you will be provided with complimentary hotel accommodation. Our hotel partners will send you to the airport 90 minutes prior to the departure of your connecting flight. You will need to bring your air ticket, boarding pass for the connecting flight, and travel documents for security clearance and then wait in the boarding area for your flight.

Note: For passengers with an overnight stopover, please proceed to the arrival hall to collect your baggage (if you have already checked them in at the previous airport).
