A. Domestic Airport in China- Beijing- Seattle/Berlin (Hainan Airlines Flights)

1. Upon arrival, please follow the instructions provided by the flight service staff or directional signs at the airport to check in for your flight. Here is the procedure to follow:

Arrive → Enter Terminal 1 → Baggage claim → Verify baggage information at Baggage Enquiry Counter → Baggage Delivery → Take terminal shuttle bus or walk through corridor between Terminals→ International Departure Hall at Terminal 2 → Baggage Claim → Customs Clearance → Check-in → Security Check → Boarding at the Transit Hall.

If your connection is longer than 6 hours (on the same day) or overnight, flight service staff will guide you to the designated hotel reception counter to arrange for your complimentary hotel stay. When you depart, the hotel will arrange your transport to the International Departure Hall in Terminal 2, 120 minutes prior to the departure of your connecting flight.

   Arrive → Enter Terminal 2 → Border/ Quarantine Inspection → Baggage Claim → Customs Clearance → Walk to Terminal 1 → Terminal 1 → Check flight information screens → Check in → Security Check → Boarding at the Transit Hall.

If your stopover is longer than 5 hours (on the same day) or overnight, the flight service staff will guide you to the designated hotel reception counter and arrange for your complimentary hotel stay. You will need to check out 90 minutes prior to the departure of your connecting flight and the hotel will arrange for transport to take you to the Domestic Departure Hall at the Beijing Capital International Airport, where you will check in for your flight.

1. Connecting flight procedure for passengers whose checked baggage is tagged for Seattle but the final destination is not shown:

Arrive → Immigration → Baggage Claim → Customs Clearance → Turn right and place large baggage on the baggage conveyor belt (baggage will be transported to Baggage Carousel No. 1) → Take trolley bus to exit → Retrieve baggage from Baggage Carousel No. 1 → Proceed to the Departure Hall on the second floor of the Terminal → Airline Check in counter for the connecting flight.

Arrive → Immigration→ Baggage Claim → Customs Clearance → Turn right and place large baggage on the baggage conveyor belt (baggage will be transported to Baggage Carousel No. 1) →Take trolley bus to exit → Retrieve baggage at Baggage Carousel No. 1→ Proceed to the Departure Hall on the second floor of the Terminal → Obtain boarding pass at Hainan Airlines check-in counter (enter from Gate 5 of the terminal) → TSA Security Check → Take trolley bus to Boarding Area S → Arrive at Boarding Gate S3 (VIP lounge is nearby) → Boarding.
