Stretcher Service
Notes for Purchasing Ticket:
Passengers who require stretcher service can only purchase tickets at a Hainan Airlines authorized ticket office or by contacting the Hainan Airlines call center. The charge covers the cost of the ticket for the passenger himself/herself and the stretcher. The charge is based on six passenger tickets at normal seat fare for (B767/A330/A340) or 9 tickets at normal seat fare for (B737/A319). If the stretcher does not need to be onboard, one more additional normal one way adult first class fare shall be charged for the first class segment, two more additional one-way economy class normal fares shall be charged for the flown economy class segment. The accompanying family member or guardian shall independently buy an air ticket based on the actual cabin occupied. In addition, passengers requiring stretcher service are required to notify Hainan Airlines if the stretcher service is required at least 48 hours in advance and complete Type C Special Passenger Service Request Sheet. A valid Medical Certificate must also be provided.
The passenger must be accompanied by at least one doctor or nurse who can meet the medical needs of the passengers requiring stretcher service.
Passengers in shock on stretchers cannot be accepted for transport.
Notes for Checking-in:
Passenger requiring stretcher service may be required check-in 120 minutes prior to flight departure. Stretcher passengers are not accepted on connecting flights. Should you require special services, please inquire at the time of making the reservation.
