- Hainan’s Seattle Sales Office makes all reduced rate bookings for qualified travel agency personnel and handles ticket issuance and re-issues. - Inventory used for free/reduced rate travel is capacity controlled and is based on availability at the time of reservation or making change(s). All taxes, fees and surcharges are the responsibility of the passenger.
- Passengers are not eligible for HU Fortune Wings Club km credit or any other HU promotions.
- Passengers may change flight time and date within the validity period of the ticket providing prior approval has been given by HU Seattle Sales Office and applicable change fee applies.
- Travel is valid between SEA and PEK only and includes add on cities in China destinations only.
- HU reserves the right to revise rules and conditions at any time without notice.
- Reduced rate tickets are non transferable, not redeemable for cash and tickets are void if sold for cash or another person.
HU currently accept American Express, Diners Club, MasterCard, UATP or Visa.
In order to minimize lost ticket incidents, please issue e-tickets for eligible itineraries. Check eligibility of E-ticketing with your GDS/CRS. HU does not charge for paper tickets and we require that infants have a paper ticket.

Plating on HU on a code share flight where HU does not have a ticketing agreement is not allowed
HU does not allow Prepaid Ticket Advice (PTA).
Check fare rules for applicable penalty (change fee) before making any changes. The higher penalty amount on the most restricted fare rules always applies for reissuing tickets issued with combined restricted and less restricted fares.
Hainan Airlines does not allow routing changes once a ticket is issued.
An unused ticket can be reissued or refunded by HU or its authorized agent upon payment of applicable charges within 1 year (365 days) from the ticket issuance date.
Debit memos may be issued for following reasons:
- Improper collection of fares/penalties
- Unreported sales
- Credit card rejections
- Commission errors
- Commission Recall for refunded fare
